CHILDREN'S CHOIR SINGING

Michelle Clark is recruiting and directing our new Children's Choir.  The group
is open to children in kindergarten through fifth grade and rehearsals are at
6:30 p.m. Wednesdays in the Choir Room.  Spread the word--come and sing!

MENTORING WITH YOUTH

On March 26, Friday, 6:00 to 8:00pm the Chi-Rho, CYF, Elders and
Sponsors will meet at Jeffersontown Christian Church for a workshop
and worship on Holy Week “Standing with Jesus”. 
Speakers will be:  Linda Jones, Caryn Yoast, Deke Rigor and John Schildt.

YOUTH LOCK-IN AT JEFFERSONTOWN CC

 There will be an overnight Lock-in for Chi-Rho and CYF at
Jeffersontown Christian Church on Friday, April 9.

CHI RHO & CYF

Thirty CHI-RHO and CYF youth from five Disciples churches assembled 141
Haiti Hygiene Kits to be sent to Church World Service.  A Church World
Service video and a communion devotional began the evening’s activities.

Participating churches included:  Hurstbourne (6 youth), Crestwood (host), LaGrange, Shawnee, and Shepherdsville.

Twenty-two adults coordinated the assembly lines (2 – HCC).  The kits
were divided among the churches for mailing.  Thanks for all your
contributions to a much needed service.
